i'm just over the moon right now cos my team WON the world cup!

what more can be said when it was a nail-biting game where i was always on the verge of despair when FRANCE scored through a penalty in the early minute of the game. from my point of view it was not a penalty but i guess anything can happens in a game of football. then i was convinced that ITALY will score to make it even and i was rewarded. what a goal by marco materazzi! it was all tactics and instant dicisions on what to do next to bring each team forward. after a gut wrenching extra time with each team trying to convert their chances, it was down to penalty shoot out. as ITALY was always jinx when it came down to penalties and in the end they showed the world that they were the ones hungry for the world cup title. they deserved the world cup title. it was a disciplined and classy ITALIANS playing. they proved the world wrong.

bravo ITALY!! i have never ever lose faith that ITALY could not make it to the finals or that they were a boring team no matter what the critics said about them. i believed that they can do it. congrats ITALY. an ITALIAN JOB FINISHED!
